Who We Are
About Sparta Lake Property Owners Association
The Sparta Lake Property Owners Association supports the Sparta Lake community in Sparta, New Jersey. SLPOA is responsible for helping coordinate the care, communication, and governance of shared community assets, including lake-related matters, common areas, resident notices, documents, and association operations.
Volunteer Leadership
SLPOA is led by a volunteer Board and supported by residents who contribute time, dues, and attention to the community. Because the Association is volunteer-run, clear communication and organized records are essential to keeping the community informed and operating smoothly across board transitions.
Board members give their time freely to coordinate dues, stewardship, communications, documents, and community requests. Response times reflect the volunteer nature of the organization, and resident participation makes the work possible.

The Association continues to preserve that legacy through stewardship, practical maintenance, and resident participation.

Community History
A Community With Deep Roots
Sparta Lake has grown from an early lake community into a year-round neighborhood shaped by generations of residents, volunteers, and property owners. Since 1928, the community has depended on shared responsibility: caring for the lake, maintaining common areas, preserving records, and keeping residents informed.
The Association is working to preserve more of that story through old photos, maps, meeting records, resident memories, and historical materials connected to Sparta Lake.
